The JS25 features a Ready Start, 4-cycle Briggs & Stratton engine which is manufactured to John Deere standards for great quality and reliability. It has  a 6.75 lb-ft gross torque per SAE J1940. The engine is equipped with a zone start recoil-rope starting system.
The carburetor is designed to prevent flooding for easier starts. JS25 has a  fuel tank cap which contains fuel stabilizer that drips into the fuel tank as the mower is operated. The Zone-start system requires that the engine be started from behind the handlebar using the extended recoil rope while holding down the operator-presence control, which is also located on the handlebar. The  handle controls how fast the mower moves by how much the handle is pivoted. The JS25 mower has a 3-in-1 blade which provides outstanding cutting and is designed for use when mulching or bagging. Over all this JS25 mower is  great  for residential use and it can be found around $429 (us).
